2.  supervising and coordinating the affairs and related responsibilities of the following units: College of Liberal Arts, College of Science, College of Engineering, College of Management, College of Marine Sciences, College of Social Sciences, Si Wan College, School of Banking and Finance, College of Semiconductor and Advanced Technology Research, and Office of Personnel Services

3.  convening Coordinating Committee meetings

4.  University Institutional Evaluation

5.  coordinating matters assigned by the President, including supervising and evaluating the following projects:

• serving as Convener of the University Faculty Evaluation Committee, including overseeing external reviews of academic works submitted for faculty promotion and external reviews of new appointments at the rank of associate professor or above
• serving as Executive Director of the proposed merger between National Sun Yat-sen University and National University of Kaohsiung
• coordinating the allocation of administrative personnel
